When life throws you a curveball, comprehensive insurance covers damage to your vehicle that’s not caused by a collision, such as fire, theft or when you hit a deer.
ERIE’s auto policy covers windshield and glass repairs as part of our comprehensive coverage. Even better, most glass damage can be fixed at a location that’s convenient to you like your home or workplace.
We strive to exceed your expectations and provide service with a human touch.
Here are just a few extras that are available with every Erie Insurance auto policy.
If your pet gets hurt in an accident while riding in your car, we’ll help cover vet treatment costs. (Up to $500 per pet, total limit $1,000.)
Personal item coverage
With physical damage coverage, we ll help cover clothing, luggage and personal belongings (up to $350) that are inside a car that we insure.
If a damaged windshield can be fixed rather than replaced, you won’t have to pay your comprehensive deductible. (Not available in KY)
Rental car expenses
Rental car expense coverage is included with comprehensive coverage and can be added easily to collision coverage.
When you accidentally lock your keys in your car, we’ll cover the locksmith costs up to $75. It’s part of our physical damage coverage.
