Best new car deals 2017

Now that the new 67-plates have arrived, we round up the best new car deals available right now

With 67-plate cars now widely available in dealerships across the country, we’ve had a look to see what sort of new car deals the manufacturers are offering. There are so many deals on offer, so it can be difficult to find the one that’s right for you, but we’ve picked out a selection of the best currently available.

Our list is based on the cars that you voted for in the 2017 Driver Power survey and all deals are a representative Personal Contract Purchase (PCP). We’ve listed the size of the deposit you must put down, as well as what the manufacturer is bringing to the table through a deposit contribution. The bigger the reduction, the better – and some manufacturers are discounting their cars by thousands at the moment.

The total amount payable reflects what you as the buyer will pay at the end of the agreement (excluding the dealer contribution). Bear in mind that with PCPs, you have the option to hand in your car at the end of the deal, foregoing the final payment.

We’ve also enlisted the help of our sister site, new car broker BuyaCar.co.uk to provide ‘aim-to-pay’ prices. If you’re not buying on finance, this will give you a target of what you should pay.

Although the car deals go through regular updates through the manufacturers and car brokers, the numbers below give you a clear idea of what you can expect to pay for each model. Always be prepared to haggle – as there’s usually a little room for manoeuvre on the prices quoted.

Read on below for our top 10 new car deals and our round up of all the best new car deals available right now. Also, don’t forget to read our list of the cheapest cars to insure and our round-up of the best car leasing deals.

Best city car deals

Toyota Aygo – £129 per month

Cheap new cars uk

The Toyota Aygo comes with zero per cent finance, although unlike with the Auris (below), dealers don’t contribute to the cost. This doesn’t make the city car any less affordable, though, with monthly payments of just £129. The £3,123.50 deposit shouldn’t be too steep for most buyers, either.

Model: Toyota Aygo 1.0 VVT-i x-claim

Total paid by customer: £14,195
